WISE aims to provide undergraduate students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by giving them
the opportunity to reach out to the GTA community to encourage youths to pursue STEM fields. Once you commit to
joining the WISE team, you become part of a supportive and innovative family of hard-working individuals with
whom you will likely form ever-lasting friendships.
As a mentor, you will be able to help high school students with their professional and personal development,
while introducing them to new people, ideas, and inspirations. You will be able to share your university
experience to make a positive impact in the lives of your mentees. All students will participate in hackathons,
workshops and social events throughout the school year that will help them better formulate their goals, think
about their plans beyond high school, and be equipped to face challenges they may face. The following form will
help us get to know you better and pair you up with suitable mentees.
